@woollydog thank you for your responses, it assisted myself and others a fair bit I am sure.
Can I ask with the MGF currently trading at a discount of 12% to NAV, on a logical sense how does one assess the current value proposition of MGF vs MFG?
Apologies if its an obvious question but I haven't really looked at fund managers and their business models until MFG hit the slides and came on the radar.
Further, I tried to find a simple answer of how exactly the MGF fund works on the Magellan website and I found the website it self pretty chaotic and not very user friendly.
Essentially I understand that with MFG one buys the stock and there is a dividend attached to the stock depending on your purchase price. How does it work with MGF in terms of dividends and when it comes to buying and selling MGF is their sufficient volume in the market to buy and sell large parcels on any given day.
