Make your money out of Lithium while you can. It has a limited life to go.

Lithium Batteries are bloody dangerous. One we have enough of these potential firebombs on our roads, the public will wake up. Any damage to your battery pack could be lethal. Banging your battery pack on an obstruction could be enough. Also electric cars need petrol chemical plastics for their bodies, They are so heavy this is mandatory. Use of high Mg alloy is precluded, because to portable ignition source would turn them into an inferno.

That is why Hydrogen is the way to go. A tank of Hydrogen is no more dangerous than a tank of petrol. In fact, as it is made of heavier materials, probably less so. Our government is, for once, extremely farsighted in investing in H₂ infrastructure.

Lithium has probably 5 - 10 years to go. Lots of time to make money, just don't get stranded at the end.
