To ask perfectly reasonable questions about an investment is not down ramping. I had issues about EPM and the accessibility of material in the Ivittuut pit, and got good explanatory answers to my post. So much so, that I went out and bought a bundle of shares, and have doubled my money as a result (even at today's price). I will be holding for the time being, all being well.
I also hold a quite substantial stake in GML, bought in 2017, when a lot of the issues at stake today, were not considered relevant, and the political landscape was a lot more pro the mine. I still think that Greenland's politics and economics are going to dictate what happens, and this will take time to resolve. I don't think that holding EPM means you shouldn't hold GML and vice versa, and that the discussion has got too partisan to benefit either company. The question of Uranium in the ore is always going to arise, but 300ppm is not a high content for a Uranium ore, and if the mine at Kvanefjeld was intended to primarily extract U, it wouldn't be economic.
Incidentally, I do suggest that HC contributors look at the comments section attached to the New York Times article. The general sentiment seemed to be that all mining and extractive industries were the devils own work and that not a teaspoon of any mineral should be extracted from Greenland. The general feeling that Greenland was a true Arcadia. Not much mention of the numerous problems the country faces, regarding unemployment, education, lack of infrastructure and social problems. Nor the approximate USD 11,000 subvention per head by the Danish Government.
