This used to be my niggle too however consider this as this is my real niggle.
SM owns the tech and patents, not LPD.
The directors own SM.
LPD has to pay to SM undisclosed royalties.
LPD pays SM for the development by issuing LPD shares to SM.
If LPD were to fail then the tech is still there, owned by the directors, SM, to go and sell or do what they want with.
So.... Why would the directors feel or have the need to buy into LPD.
Just some info to ponder.
