Well what a day.. great to see sanity prevailed and ECE deal got thru as it should. Well done to all whom voted.

With regards to Alistair, I can only say that we are shocked but also that it is understood and we wish him well.

Personally I am unable to thank him enough.

As has been posted numerous times on this board, Alistair and Gavin have gone above and beyond the call of duty for a long time... often with little thanks from fellow shareholders...

Personally I think it is incumbent on shareholders to offer a pat on the back when things are done well, irrespective of share price on the day. They are human like the rest of us.

I know it would have been a difficult decision for Al to make, especially as we are now heading down the road to production.. the promised land.

From a business perspective the world will roll on, we have a terrific group in the company and a bloody good resource in the ground..

Alistair's background was Geology and I guess now is a time to move away from what is in the ground and time to work out how to put some buildings on the ground and get it out and create even greater value... so it will be interesting to see who steps up to the plate.. they have big boots to fill but it is certainly doable imho...

The road ahead is now mapped out and we need to deliver the project...

So is it disappointing or bad?..
On a personal level? disappointing, yes as he will miss the real success more than anything..
On a business level? Not really, he has left a tremendous legacy and roadmap for others to complete...
For his family.. probably the right choice.. there is a lot of work still to go.

Many shareholders and employees have made a true friend; this is not the end of those relationships...
