Bunn, my view from what i've seen and read is that they are peds first, and use their position of trust and supposed respect to weasel their way to the children . It's not just churches, it's also other positions within society which those scummy individuals gravitate to such as cubs, scouts, girl guides, teaching, anything where they can gain the trust of young children and have the opportunity to get them alone and away from parents. Churches are probably at the pinnacle of abuse of trust due to the values they're meant to represent, but rarely do.
