The Apple story exists in a global market.
You mentioned a bunch of small Aussie manufactures before, I wonder how many of their products are even a Google search hit in China or India?

We arent talking about making a viral video here, you can't just knock it up on your GoPro and get an Oscar nomination for best independent film.

I think we are in agreement here on the scope of the company, but it sounds like you just distrust the Chinese and I underestimate our local manufacturers with equal measure. We probably both have enough legitimate reasons but as everyone else here seems to be recognising, anyone can steal anyone else's idea easily enough, the question is can they get their idea to enough eyeballs?

I dont see a better path and I applaud this move.
