Therefore is it not the case that all your examples have required large network computing power to do the fusion sensing in the first instance and if NASA is sending an unmanned mission to the edge of the solar system and beyond where conditions may be encountered that have not been anticipated requiring decisions in next to real time the processing power to make sense of the combined sensory input will need to be there not back on Earth?
