re: Ann: Thailand L44/43 Concession Resource ... Hi Folks,

Can't be bothered joining the kiddies on their WOW thread, but hopefully they"ll stay there.

Was out most of the day (have my own volcanics to check out), but after buying some too early in the first few minutes, fortunately got another few before close. Stretched the funds a bit, but feel REAL comfortable about value after the 2C announcement, and they have so much in the 3P and 3C, and then a heap more beyond where they know there's oil, but just haven't got to appraise yet.

Really suprised at the sp reaction, but then that is very ST, brokers and tipsters will follow and whoever just has to sell no matter what will run out of script. Suprised, but actually would have been dissapointed if it had run today, as I wouldn't have purchased more. Even happier that I got 3/4 of my holding in low 50's last week of course, as many others here did also.

Really starting to think John probably isn't premature in his Ghawar-like thoughts. Had a few concerns mid year when sp was soaring on declining production, but with what they've delineated in what will be near on reserves doubling, and the explanations given several weeks back, it is clear the diversion from development drilling has been very compelling for them, and thoroughly worthwhile.

The collapse in sp, and the limp recovery has been entirely fortuitious for me, and enabled me to cheaply get my holding back up to peak post levels for the year. This time there is far too much, too clearly ahead for me to contemplate selling baring some silly premature spike well over $1 (plus other bargains are now so much harder to find). As soon as they can open up decent resources in L33 I"ll share John's $2 (correct me if I am wrong John)target.

Actually I am very grateful to John for his sharing his strong conviction on these oily permits, certainly strengthened my resolve to top up further today. Of course if John's views weren't consistent with the message I've been reading from CVN/POE, then I'd ignore them. Hard though to ignore the facts as they are becoming that much clearer, even if Mr Market (bless him/her for the windfall gifts bestowed on us) is.

Well off amongst the volcanics, so have a good weekend CVNers. Aren't things looking up, all that extra long awaited oil delivered onto the books this week. A much more "tangibly" valued company than last Friday,

    EL

PS I did say this morning never 50 again, but only said maybe wrt revisiting 60.
