I really don't understand your point of view. Don't we want people to know there are things going on in Mali that aren't all rainbows and unicorns? I'd rather new investors were aware of what is happening so they don't get freaked out and dump their shares when the next Mali security incident occurs. I'm in FFX for the long term, convinced of its potential, but even then the share price gyrations can be a bit unnerving. Part of that price movement is the Mali security situation - if people knew more about it they wouldn't get so freaked out which may lead to a more stable share price.
In my experience it is better to get the negative info out in the open and discussed rather than pretending everything is always perfectly ok.
