Zoomtastic - I think Dell1234 may have just got a bit mixed up on the alumina refinery v aluminium smelter (he/she also got it wrong that it is all to ourselves - BAU will have a 50% interest, not 100%). Assuming the MOU is converted to an agreement and all the terms are met by BAU then BAU will have a 50% interest in the alumina refinery, free carried to 25% - which I think is where Dell gets the $375m from - its not actually a $375m refinery - its a $1.5bn refinery and BAU only has to come up with 25% of the capital cost (assuming all conditions are met and the MOU is converted into an agreement).
