You're twisting my words there, I'm not sure whether deliberately or not, but obviously I'm not saying China has an absolute zero amount of concern over pollution. To suggest that's what I meant is asinine. Obviously I meant they have a minimal concern about it, which is exactly why they allowed the situation to get as bad as you describe.
Your points actually back up what I'm saying rather than shoot it down. Even in light of the fact that the pollution situation become as severe in China as you describe, they have only continued to increase their coal burning, they are still increasing the amount they burn, they're currently burning more coal than ever before, they're currently building new coal plants and have plans to build more going into the future.
To say that coal is not commercially viable is to completely and utterly deny reality. Why on Earth do you think China is continuing to increase its use of coal? It's not for the environmental benefits, it's not to gain public favour. It's because it's the cheapest and most reliable option. To say otherwise simply indicates that you are a liar or have been deceived by the ridiculous narratives and implications being put out which don't even pass the pub test let alone any amount of rational analysis.
