We know from before the last AGM that metalstorm had an interested party from the middle east which stemmed from the Idex 2009 show, and we also know that metalstorm were asked to provide pricing for the 3GL to the UAE (from memory at the AGM), is this where the interest is coming from? or is it the US? I don't think the ammunition is ready in the US yet because of their TRL's.
It may be a different story for other countries outside the US as Lee sort of indicated to me when I asked him at what level TRL's our weapons were at, at the latest AGM, he responded that the weapons (I am thinking 3GL Firestorm and MAUL) were at TRL8 and that the ammunition was at TRL7, but he went further and said, these TRL's mean different things to different countries?
I wonder what that really means? could it be that
ST Kinetics has developed their ammunition further than what the US has? because I think that may be the case, after reading the last CEO's report where it stated that man firing of HE rounds had taken place, I don't think that was in the US or we would have heard all about it?
