I think the strong director buying and Olam's overall strategy makes SHV a compelling takeover target by Olam, as from history of acquisitions so far, are not even concerned about valuations so much as this is a long term push into Australian Agriculture.......
They appear committed to not only owning the land but being a 'grower'......that means, most rational thing is to buy SHV on the cheap..........and TIM's stategic holding would be an easy entry into the transaction
Otherwise, Olam would have to become a grower from scratch which makes no sense, without practical expertise and considering the distressed value of SHV.....
I'm loading up more of these puppies on this basis.....I am a big fan of the SHV business.......and while Olam could be a competitor.......it makes no rational sense
