It's a very specific statement re a very specific issue by the sounds of it -
"The Company has received information that a media report is pending relating to the
Company’s operations at the Bankan project in Guinea and requests a trading halt of its
securities to allow it time to prepare an announcement so that the market is fully informed
in relation to this issue."
Relates to an issue regarding the companies operations at the Bankan project.
So no takeover or anything like that. Could be anything so we will just have to wait and see.
