Announcement was only made on Friday. Those short term traders who held on Friday, planning for a further rise in sp today, will have gotten impatient and sold out. This is the part of the process where the short term traders exit the building and hand over their holdings to the investors. Its a transfer of shares into hands that want to hold for longer than a day or two.
