Short range BEV trucks are already being used all around the developed world, they charge at depots during stops and at night. Operators are reporting huge reductions in operating costs that quickly pay back the higher initial capital costs. Taxis are going EV every where except Australia where we are just using Prius and Camry hybrids. In all cases one of the big pluses is regen braking.
