volcanic activity is a 'normal' function of the planet.... there have always been and always will be, in our time at least, volcanic activity.

a very interesting program on SBS.... "life on earth from space" describes the changes over the last 4.5 billion years and shows the evidences of natural climate changes. the last 100 years hasn't had any increased volcanic activity yet the CO2 and other greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions have increased rapidly and dramatically way above the pre-existing trend patterns, coinciding with the rise in global average atmospheric and oceanic temperatures.

As for Antarctica, you mention weather, not climate. this is normal weather but note, if you will, what the northern hemisphere has experienced since the 2019/29 Black Summer fires here in Aus.... the north has had similar weather patterns as we had in the lead up to 2019 while we in the south have had a blissful reprieve. this too is a 'normal' atmospheric phenomenon - warm air doesn't circulate evenly but in such a large global system maintains sections of cold air and warmer air to hot air.

the air and water currents mean that while some parts of the world are heating others are cooling.

global warming means that across the whole range of extremes the global average temperature continues to rise
