To be fair, it sound more like a system that would incorporate Akida.
My take on it is that it provides an environment that allows easy combination of devices like Akida to communicate with the cloud. Is it being designed to only handle Akida to Cloud integration? I doubt it. This would be too limiting and it appears it is designed to incorporate many types of edge devices.
