These are the key points I make from the current state of play:

· It’s been around 8 weeks since the meeting with HGST/WDC which was to provide them with a “technical update”.

· Previous TH referring to a “technical update” was specific to the results from the last imec run. This one just mentions a generic “technical update”.

· The last technical developments exceeded anything expected by the market.

· The JDA with HGST is getting close to having run its course, at least as far as 4DS is concerned. (Even better if it has for WDC as well and they move into productisation).

· What we don’t know:

o Full characterisation of how the crystalline PCMO material behaves in a memory array.

o Detailed cell specs for speed, endurance, retention, and size.

From this, my sleuthing is leading to the most likely content for the technical update to disclose information that has previously been withheld at HGST/WDC request.
