the problem of land banking for capital growth is easily solved... just wait for the Ken Henry Land Tax. A nice 3% annual holding cost on these speculators would sort the men from the boys.
I think it will be a small increase in Land tax at first, but if land banking continues keep upping the land tax until banking is completely eliminated.
