Seriously, you don't speak for all shareholders. I'm quite clearly anti-JK, and still considered voting in favour of the demerger, just so that I could get out and wipe my hands of it.
Anyone who thought JK was innocent voted "for".
If you think JK is guilty, then it's not a clear "against" vote. Demerger likely gets him off the hook regardless of what is found in the ASIC case. But demerger also allows us to be done with it. Gives an exit strategy, rather than waiting for another 2 years.
In terms of timelines, I'm predicting second half of 2022 for a listing on another exchange. If it was likely in the coming few months, we'd already have a likely exchange lined up, and would have spruiked it. Doesn't appear that there's been a lot of takers so far.
