I have ordered an interesting book on just that subject, which claims that we are the sum-total of the experiences passed on to us by parents, life as a small child (and again parents) - our own reactions - and later by our own, earlier decisions which - were mostly prompted by circumstance.
so essentially, we are the victims of our environment.
i do believe there is such a thing as 'Free Will' and nothing will convince me otherwise!!!
