SLI is at Demonstration Plant scale with over 5,000 hrs of "data" and yet to go to Commercial scale - taken directly from the podcast. Lilac/LKE are at Pilot Plant scale (approx. 1/3 Commercial scale) and they have been running the Pilot Plant successfully since March 2020. The latest LKE presentation notes "Proven Pilot Plant with extensive test work". Again, no acknowledgement at all of this from JL.

VUL are also at Pilot Plant scale and have done the work tailoring their DLE flowsheet to their specific brine. They have also been in the process of accumulating the required data......but, yet again, no acknowledgement from JL.

I see this podcast as JL preferentially promoting his Client (SLI) ahead of others like LKE and VUL - with no balanced comparisons of where his "non-Clients" are at. There is no specific mention of where LKE or VUL are at in their development, scale or results. He essentially just writes them off as irrelevant and way behind with no real acknowledgement that either could turn out to be a serious player in the supply of battery quality Lithium products. JL also strikes me as very PRO US. Lots of positive talk on SLI and LAC - particularly LAC's Thacker Pass project....which he seems to be pushing way harder than CTR's Salton Sea DLE project. I wonder why?

On the subject of Geothermal DLE, JL actually stated that he was involved in it "last time" (Simbol) and it didn't work. It may work this time but it probably won't be producing product in time for the "first million Tonnes" of product required by the market...or even the "second million Tonnes" according to JL. Really, Joe? Not even with the time saving of hours versus 12-18 months over product coming from evaporation ponds? Like we've all been saying here....time will tell!

Well done to SLI. They sound like they have a great project there with good progress on their DLE.......but they are not alone!

Oh, and rather than spend time asking his guests "What was the last show you binge watched?", or "What was the last song you downloaded?" maybe some objective coverage of where others like LKE and VUL are actually at would have been better. He even promoted Snoop Dog FFS!

Sounds like you’re concern is he doesn’t hype LKE to the level Steve does?
