Hey mate,
I suspect Sky are getting $10-$14 per month on the 900Mbs broadband plan.
Last time I checked, Chorus charge $56/month for that speed.
So I imagine Vocus probably charge Sky $65/month. Vocus does offer some technical support, but Sky handle all of the day to day activities and handle the majority of customer queries I believe. So $65/month seems about right to me given Vocus NZ (now called Orcon) don't have to do too much. $69/month absolute max.
The notion that Sky get at least $10/month and probably closer to $14/month is also reinforced by the fact they are offering 12 months Disney+ for free to new customers. So they are effectively giving away all (or most) of their margin in year 1 to attract new subs as they have likely struck a deal with Disney that costs them maybe $9.99/month per sub.
