    Hi mate

The factors that affect the life of a well are economic as well as production performance based.

As far as ideal flow life is concerned, the factors that influence are the initial peak flow rate on the y axis, and the decline curve . So a low peak rate, low decline curve well can have a larger area under the curve ( total production) and extend further along the x axis ( time), than a high IP rate well, and a steeper decline curve.

Ideally we want a higher IP number ( which we are getting ) with a shallower decline curve. BRK need at least the IP30 and 90 flow rates to get a handle on how the actual decline curve is comparing to the modelled curve.

So the answer to your question is yes and yes, yes and no, no and yes, no and no depending now on the decline rate.

Having said that, the fact the well is performing so brilliantly, with still increasing oil flow, along with a very rich gas stream , with what appears to be a very well endowed natural fracture zones and and excellent frack job, you could be forgiven to be anticipating upside rather than downside outcomes here.

    Hope that helps.

    Cheers

    Dan
