I think if you read the conclusion they are basically saying with Reram they have achieved a worrking model of articial intelligence not achieved before .
One that doesn' t forget , thinks and learns for itself through its entire life , basically like a human .
Its the future , good or bad and there are going to be trillions of dollars made and invested in it .
Reram enables it , how much is that worth ?
