Focus have been using a geochemical testing method called MMI (mobile metallic ions) which is extremely accurate in locating buried ore deposits cheaply. Using MMI together with magnetic and gravty surveys, then drilling targets that have all the right fingerprints has contributed to their wonderful success ratio of good drill holes to bad drill holes. Some data on the Mount and Nepean is public domain, and can be found on this web site:

Hopefully there is someone amongst us that can translate this further, and assist in our mutual enlightenment.
Whilst MMI is extremely good at locating goodies, you still have to drill to get data the market understands, ie JORC ounces etc. We're literally sitting on a nickel mine or three and numerous gold mines, that our management apparently KNOW are there, but must drill in order to announce this in the market's accepted language. Bring on the drilling!
