The market is like a beauty pageant. EXT has put on lipstick, high heels and silicon. NDO is plain old-fashioned value. No makeup, no flashy earings, no handbag, nothing. It just stands in the shadows at the side of the hall quietly while EXT screams like a banshee.
Translation: EXT is better marketed than NDO. EXT has also been the takeover focus of RIO. Rio already has a sizeable chunk of EXT and quite a good chunk of its current share price of 10 bucks odd is pure takeover premium, I think. As far as I am aware no-one is after NDO.
Share price of EXT has increased more than 10 fold in a year. Nido is still more than 50% off its one year highs.
