SV - sorry it took me a bit to get back to you, had to do a few searches and read through some legal stuff and my head is a bit full now...
I never claimed to be a patent expert...I would strive to be one but I get bogged down in the legal twists and turns and language, got a pal who is an ex-lawyer, I could always run it by him...
SO, where do we stand.
Sure at initial discovery there appears to be some sorta overlap....Covid...ARDS...Respiratory problems.... finally this is one for a legal department and in no way am I equipped or qualified to pass judgement , these opinions are my own for sure.
Now the burning questions...
WHO IS FIRST!?Ahh thats actually an easier one to answer....WE ARE *hooray*.

Now before we all head to the pub to celebrate....legally, it might be a touch messier??? .....IF in 10 years time when we have an ARDS solution in tow....what is covered by what? I mean if I have Covid and ARDS which patent is applicable? If I just have a respiratory disease ex-covid then you would think the original (see above) patent covers PAR. Does the blanket respiratory patent above cover us in the case we have a patient with both respiratory disease AND Covid? One for the lawyers perhaps.
And before we get any smart-a$$'s , yes we are the owners of this and a few others in a few other countries... no need to cry, here's the proof:
Now all of that above is fun to think about (that was sarcastic...legal stuff, not too much fun in my books, I'd rather tackle the science and the investing side)....but it's all pretty academic. I want to be thinking that I will be somewhere off in the Bahamas sipping daiquiris (tropical beers even) with Twin Creeks as he plots a chart from our current $56 share price to $120 due to OA and iPPS and how many months that might take....at this point ARDS will hopefully be just a second thought...?
