So I have watched with interest the rise and fall of Painchek and have noticed that someone seems to be buying at the 4.4-4.6 range and then dumping at the 5.2-5.4c range. PCK seems stuck in this cycle which seems to take a few weeks. Without some good news I can’t see it going anywhere anytime soon. However, I did buy into the company today after going over the Royal Commission into aged care for the 3rd time. I haven’t bothered posting here previously as it does seem quite the forum of for’s and against’s and I’m not interested in this battle. Just posting some information that seems like it may have some merit in the future.

Reading through the royal commission I note the number of references to the need for Aged care to be up to date with the digital record keeping for patients. This is mentioned numerous times. Also mentioned is the need to use technology to help staff minimise the time needed for paperwork, thus the need for digital technology. Also mentioned is the importance that technology is used for aged care residence’s safety and well-being. I don’t believe that the royal commission can name any particular company or management system but many of these things are what Painchek are used for. If you have the time to read the report, you’ll see that a huge amount of this has been followed by the need for government funding, both at home and in the aged care sector. IMO, I believe that in no time we will see more funding come to Painchek and if management have their wits about them, they are probably working on ways how they can get the funding into the home also. The recommendation was for technology to assist the aged stay in their own homes for longer.

It’s an interesting read and doesn’t guarantee anything in the way of future funding, however what I read is that Commissioner Briggs has suggested funding for some of these things should be starting as soon as January 2022. I have taken up a small parcel today as I feel that Painchek has hit close to the bottom. It’s tested and bounced here several times and I believe a company with such potential cannot sit at these lows for much longer. I will enjoy watching the company and it’s growth potential, but will not be following this forum as it rarely stays away from mindless arguments. I hope for LTH sakes that more funding becomes available and that the European side of the business can pick up speed to continue the growth needed to get back to it’s highs.
