Everyone also needs to keep in mind that a number of large US firms are looking to take up bigger stakes in Chinese companies.....Sinochem and Chemchina are two that get regularly mentioned. So whilst they are looking at NUF there are probably discussions at very senior level with these US firms that may/may not influence their current & future acquisition strategy/targets.
So there are a number of moving parts.....
