Well I am just confused as some here are saying IOU is going into banking.
IOU needs to make up its mind i would think - they seem to want to be everything to everyone and at present is ending up being nobody to everything.
Why did Afterpay leapfrog every other bnpl that started around the same time? Because of the funding Afterpay was able to bring in to fuel its growth much like Atome now with its $1 billion funding.
Is that IOU's strategy? I can't say that exponential bnpl growth is our current strategy, there simply isn't much growth to be had with the cash we have at present. Show the market we can secure a couple of hundred million dollars then yes we will see some worthwhile bnpl growth re-rating.
Until then - we are looking more like an Openpay ($190mil market cap) or Laybuy ($125mil market cap) imo and bolt on some digital banking aspiration if we get the Msian digital bank license sometime in 2022.
It would save many people grief if they are told exactly what IOU is about instead of some misunderstood mirage.
That's all i am trying to bring across.
