Well ...the thing is , it's the Brokers who place your order with their operators into this ' Unseen ' and ' Unknown ' other market participants Market Depth pool. And it can literally take forever to execute a LARGE sell or buy order in this Market ....generally speaking. And once the end of the days trading session comes around , your order is purged from the systems , only for you to start again the next day. In this case that's Monday so if you wanted out of your position , it would in my opinion almost be futile trying to get the midpoint before days end if you order was large.

And so there are those who subscribe to the NOT holding overnight risk - particularly over the weekend , and so would drop there remaining order down to the 15.5 cent before the end of the day or in the Match. So the thing is about the ' Dark Pool ' markets is that you or even your broker does NOT know how much and / or whether you have ' Priority ' in you order position. So yeah , there is a lot going on , and a lot which can be interpreted from the sheer amount of midpoint trades going through a particular stock.

One would be obviously perhaps.an Institutional component who uses their representing brokerage to place these orders. But it also comes back to what I posted yesterday about ' Securities Trading ' regulations and insider trading when it comes to ' Front-running your order's before a LARGER known order based on some inside knowledge of view.
