I don't think they had something to gain or believe those conspiracies. ASX just stuffed up. The other companies did not have OM reports and negative AFR articles circulating at the time to compound it.
ASX took Hindsight2012s investing advice and said "where there is smoke there is fire" so suspended truly believing they would find a fire.

Still no fire presented to market.

ASX questioned and questioned looking for fire...ISX said hold on what is this about, your overstepping, back off.
ASX scratched their head and said...."ah ha. thats what a guilty company would say, your suspended"

They had their "Bias Confirmed" by ISX actions...to bring this back in contect with the thread title.
