Running discussion on SP, page-53803

What's everybody's thoughts on the OFS/BFS, in the sense that okay well we are engaged in the moment in a scoping study to assess the 10mpta option, will this be detailed enough and finish in time to be included in the BFS perhaps?

or do you all think that the OFS as it currently stands will be delivered as a BFS post ML, based on the existing plan containing all the detailed metrics and figures to support that plan?

because I'm wondering that if the BFS is what will be used to support the DFI's in their evaluation and approval of debt funding, would that be agreeable to base off when it now seems clear that the earlier plan outlined in the OFS will likely be scrapped in favour of 10mpta as long as its shown to be viable? Could then the negotiations around CATH and Pei's insistence on more output be the 'strategic reason why the board decided not to release the OFS at the time?

if so, it may perhaps be more likely that if we soon receive a ML, that there might might a slight delay whilst the scoping study for 10mpta is fleshed out for inclusion in the BFS - so that the banks will approve the required debt, which would itself be needed in order to deliver FID?
