What r u guys talking about re;shorting?
Firstly, you cant instruct a super fund to buy shares as they operate under an investment mandate and all decisions are the responsibility of the investment manager.
The only way to make investment decisions in your own super fund is to run it which means its an smsf. And even then it would have to be setup under a custody model, where explicit purpose/permission is granted so that the custodian can lend stock in the event of a short sale on mkt. I very much doubt many have this setup so theres no way your stk is being used for shorting.
I wouldnt worry about shorts its an area that gets too much attention.
