Looks like small shareholders will only get a minimal allocation as most is targeted at "sophisticated investors", in other words the new Chinese contacts and portfolio managers. Hasn't changed much since the 1980's!! As it appears only 10 million shares will be allocated to us plebes, that is approximately on average of 1 share for every 4.5 shares held (the in-specie allocation), so you may only get a minimal allocation based on what you have already been allocated. Unless they go the way of what Core Lithium did recently CXO They had a new issue for $15 million, at no set rights allocation, over $43 million applied for and the company decided to increase their take to $25m in gratitude to the smaller shareholders and they got an additional number of shares. Would appear therefore MTC are setting up for a big oversubscription with the new issue situation thus giving the opening prices of the IPO a guaranteed winner as some shareholders not receiving their full application will buy in with the return funds. It will be interesting to see which way Winsome will go with the new issue of shares, and we can only speculate till prospectus comes out.
