With reference to the Project Execution Update, while the mill name plate is 2.4 mtpa the ball and sag mills have been upgraded, from 3.8 mw, to 4.4 mw allowing for a potential increase in throughput, from 2.4 mtpa, to 2.8 Mt pa with the addition of a 7th cil tank. Using the project grade of 1.11 g/t, rough calcs produce an increase in gold production of 13,000 oz pa, or a increase to the bottom line of A$31 mil without to much impact on AISC. These are only back of envelope calcs so please verify.
While this in itself is impressive the real star of the show is the project strip ratio of 4.1 to 1. This is even better in the first 4 years of production.
All of this, together with the metallurgy of the ore, points to a project with so much potential.
