but everyone with half a brain was/is thinking it... and they are right...

you remember how we moved 'away' from "iterations" after they were done - finished - we have evolved from "iterations"... Remember that?...

well...

bombshell inbound...

the "iterations" and the "non platform lots" are the same thing...

we never moved on from them...

the bod just gave the "iterations" a new name...

because they had said that we had achieved all we needed from "iterations" and that it was time to move on to the megabit chip...

also because they had made previous statements to the effect that we would be done with iterations at the end of 2019 and it was then time to move to the Mb chip...

well they lied.

plain as day.

we were not ready. We needed more "iterations". But we are too thick to see that necessity. And had already told shareholders that the Mb chip would be the 2020 focus...

So they branded the next batches of "iterations" as "non platform lots" (pro tip: same farking thing)

just a little realism for all us thick shareholders who don't understand the nature of semiconductor development...

this is the nature of the board and what they think of us.
protecting us from our own research incompetence and stupidity?

because we get tied up on semantics, language and individual words so much, if we had gone back to more "iteration" market announcements in 2020 rather than something else, then our own collective stupidity would have crushed... Probably the board, rather than the SP which was already only 5c at that time.

so probably the bod rebranded the "iterations" as "non platform lots" just so they could focus on development and getting it right.

sparing themselves any barbs and annoying questions from shareholders was the correct business move.

This doesn't matter.
and I knew this at the time.
and so would anyone with half a brain who had done their due diligence.

like I said.
ultimately achieving the right cell design with further iterations was the correct business move.
and deflecting flak from SHs by using a different terminology to give the sense that we had moved on from "iterations" and were truly walking past stepping stones on the journey was sensible -
perhaps some more credit to shareholders is necessary is all... Then again... When you look at some of the other technology stocks on the asx... Maybe not...
