Came to have a look after a quick scan of the recent sock-hed article because it was packed with buzz words and raised some red flags to me.

With the slow progress in building sufficiently large quantum computers, we are IMO at least 5 years away from any quantum-based decryption attacks and I believe that is quite a generous time frame. Even the most serious state-backed hackers currently would not have the capability and, if they did, they could make far more money on selling that quantum tech than use it for malicious uses. In any case, ransomware groups and the like are making billions by doing attacks on companies with gaping holes in their 'classically' encrypted networks. Google 'ransomware' right now.

You may need to be very patient waiting for this tech to bring in revenue. Multiple standards organizations and researchers are actively working to identify the best alternatives and plan the transition to post-quantum cryptography so you would be super lucky ever to get a moat around an individual company like this. Just my 2 cents worth, and I have been retired a few years now, but I try to keep up with information technology. I suggest you really DYOR before committing too much at this early stage. Happy to have a reasonable discussion but won't be biting on the usual 'down-ramper' attacks.
