@daicosisgod; the next few days should inform us as to whether or not new Covid cases have peaked in Victoria and you're spoton in pointing out the observations reported by Covid Commander Jeroen Weimar.
Although Victoria's double jabs rate is rocketing along we need to remember that there's at leas t a two week lag following vaccination before full effectiveness is reached - even at 66% today the real figure is 10% lower than that due to the lag.
It may also be the case that because the current outbreak was confined by health authorities to specific areas that a higher percentage of people therein now have Covid immunity after having already been exposed.
We can but wait and hope for the best so that the end of official lockdown throughout Melbourne doesn't morph into a self-imposed version.
