Have a look at the course of sales through the day and notice all of the tiny transactions - particularly this morning. These are designed to keep a lid on the SP and I'd hazard a guess that they are initiated by Institutions whilst they accumulate. Once they get their fill and the leash is removed, we should get to a more natural, unhindered SP.
I'm also guessing that quite a few Shorters may be getting their fingers burnt today!
