Apologies I haven't seen the previous tags of me before and appreciate the call-outs.

Firstly, I did free-carry several months ago.
-That was primarily a personal portfolio management decision. (i.e. I wanted to shift funds around and allocate elsewhere at that time).
-Secondly the T/A suggested there was a longer term pull-back potentially unravelling.

I'll indicate that it wasn't and isn't do with the viability of the project.

If any one wants a Nifty rundown recommend watching the below.
It's a long watch but holds more credence than my opinion.

I'll try and make the following as layman as possible in terms of the project.
Nifty, is essentially a fairly complex copper geology. Several different ore types.

They've got different recoveries, different leach times etc.

The team at CYM has done this before and owns IP as to how they make this process work. Or more specifically how to accelerate the leach time.

Wouldn't be too many other groups I'd back to make this work and why when old projects get acquired they generally don't work out unless you do something different.

Heap leaching in itself, especially in the copper world isn't re-inventing the wheel.
IMO the market just got a little impatient, confused and possible just a few large players from the placement wanted to cash-in. Doesn't take too much to cause a rolling stone. The market and S/P movement goes all over the place irrespective of viability sometimes.

I think the market will take a different once they've released the restart study. Which affirms the costs, the revenues etc etc.

I've dug around for copper companies and in most circumstances i wind up looking at smaller explorers which are exploring and discovering ore deposits. But it's smaller size resources and 3-5years off production and sometimes it's a similar EV.

So for me CYM is a lot closer to cash-flow from the project.
Proven resource, proven infrastructure, proven team.

Copper as a commodity is really decent sector to be in currently I think, there's a large lag in copper mine development. Not a quick turn-key so there's not a huge amount near-term copper producers to fill a demand push.

Transparently, I'm very close to pushing what I pulled out back in. I was waiting for the restart study, but think as the market is forward looking and already looking like a weekly bottom is in. Consolidating above 20-22c would bode quite well.

Won't re-speculate on the economics too much with a study due shortly, but there's quite a few posts from myself and others who have detailed some rough and not so rough economics. Naturally, at it's current MC you'd only need to generate any profit at all to justify the MC. Ironically the longer term EBITDA is probably fairly close to their current market cap.

This is all of course only on Nifty... Their other projects are good enough to be another companies core focus. Something along the lines of "We'll build Nifty and then move onto the next one".

Apologies for not posting more over the last 4-5months but as I had indicated (and i think it was via twitter) that i had free-carried and subsequently sold some stock when the T/A went pear shaped. I don't really like to be posting too much if i'm selling.

I'm research heavy and capital poor with 4-5 other projects taking primary funding (choices which given the decline here turned out to be wise) but now another 2-3 i've now got an appetite to enter. It's a constant re-assessment of where the money is best positioned to give myself the best return, in the shortest period with the lowest overall risk. In that sense it's my opinion that CYM might soon be a wise choice for me to re-position some allocation likely targeting the 20-22c range if I can.

Restart study will be the pivot point. Regardless of the arbitrary nature of the numbers the market will rest easier just knowing what those numbers are.

Thanks for those who cattle prodded me privately on this also.
