I wish we got ground EM done before drilling (if I'm not mistaken it's only aero).

One thing I use as a silver lining in these scenarios is that BHP and other majors were very married to specific ore genetic models and how they formed/should've formed and if something didn't tick that box, they generally would have not persisted. This actually works in juniors favour because despite there being broad genetic models for ore genesis there is always variation and differentiation within the bracket.

On top of this the majors are so big, have so many targets and need certain scale a lot of the time compelling targets would have not got a look in from the line manager as it doesn't fit the MO.

I always have a good chuckle when people dismiss tenure that was previously held by a major but never did anything with it. there are so many brilliant discoveries that fall into that bucket.
