While I agree with your post generally there could be a way for CER to raise capital. If it was done at the same time that CNP also raised capital and that extra capital was used to buy CER or take up an issue by CER then CER would be able to have a capital raising and CNP could maintain its majority holding. I have posted these thoughts previously. (If CNP monitor HC posts then they may think about this proposition.)

Personally I'd like to see no dilution of CER but a slow repayment of loans and a build up of assets through repayment and revaluation.

As I have said many times, "slow and steady wins the race".
