Here I am again, jo jo. Pondering now about that climbing rose......Actually, it doesn't look like Just Joey, now I look at the standard Just Joey. I have always called it a climbing Just Joey. I am all confused, now. Whatever it was, it was quite spectacular and for years I have thought of it being JJ.......I need some lessons by a rose expert. I see the petals in the centre are formed differently from JJ. Is that how I should distinguish it, jo jo?
My courtyard has a missing tile, designed on purpose to enable a plant like a climber to be put against the brick garage wall. I should turn my thoughts to putting another climber in there, but the trellis is almost flat against the wall, so I can't really entwine it only tie it, so somewhat problematic.....I will consider it today.....Geranium? Black eyed Susan? Star Jasmine? Maybe the Star Jasmine which I have three in my garden and and another one would be good, particularly as I could twist it behind the trellis...
