Yes, you are absolutely correct, that was the daily data. 20k shares shorted on that day.
Last time I looked, there were around 4% or ~ 66M shares currently short and still rising but was up to Oct. 11. There hasn’t been huge volume traded of late so can’t imagine it’s changed drastically.
The BRN threads are littered with false information regarding short selling so take that into account.
