Agree MPX regarding your positions with shorts and regarding the oscillators...
I guess this is the point that is messing with my head is the fact that when we actually turn and begin sustained down, or as the case with the recent sustained up... the oscillators then tend to sit tight in their upper or lower ranges for protracted periods of time.
Thus a true trend change now (to down) would see the "protracted time in oversold" situation... just when the majority of traders are used to seeing oversold as an indicator to go long.
