Meeting time at a price is doubly strong but doesn't mean it will.
Quarter end window dressing is a common market feature which often gives a boost but if you are going to rob Peter to pay Paul it makes more sense to do it in a poor quarter to make things look not so bad. With such a good quarter it would make little sense to me.
I heard US reporting starts Oct 7 so that also fits Oct dates.
